Order Cancellation
You may cancel your order for a full refund up until the time you receive your shipment confirmation email with tracking information. If you cancel after your order has been sent, you are responsible for the return shipping fee. The original shipping fee incurred to send the bike to you will not be refunded (even when ‘free’ shipping is advertised).
Return Policy
Our return policy is ‘All Sales Final’ after shipping. To be eligible for a return, your item must be:
- Unused and in the same condition as received
- In the original packaging with all components
- Returned within 15 days of delivery
- Accompanied by valid proof of purchase
We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these criteria. Returned bikes may be subject to a restocking fee of up to $300 at our sole discretion.
Return Process
- Contact Customer Service: Email info@dakeyabike.com within 15 days of receiving your bike.
- Approval Required: Do not send your purchase back until we have authorized the return in writing.
- Documentation: Clear photos of the bike in its current condition must be provided.
- Packaging Requirements: All returns must include:
- Bike completely disassembled according to provided instructions
- All parts cleaned and properly wrapped
- All accessories, keys, tools, and components
- Original packaging materials and box
Shipping for Returns
For all returns due to customer preference:
- Customer is responsible for all return shipping costs
- Returns must be insured for full purchase value
- Damage during return shipping is customer responsibility
For defective products (with verification):
- Dakeya Bike will provide return instructions
- Customer must follow all packaging protocols exactly
Damaged or Defective Products
If you receive a damaged or defective bike:
- Document damage with clear photos immediately upon delivery
- Contact info@dakeyabike.com within 48 hours of delivery
- Provide order number and detailed description
- Wait for our evaluation before proceeding
For issues that can be resolved with replacement parts, we may send parts rather than accepting a full return. If the bike has been ridden beyond initial testing or has been in your possession for more than 15 days, it will not be eligible for return.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are severely defective or damaged. If you believe you may be eligible for an exchange, please email info@dakeyabike.com for evaluation.
Refund Processing
After we receive and inspect your return:
- We will notify you of approval or rejection of your refund
- Dakeya Bike reserves the right to withhold up to the full value of the refund if the bike is in poor condition upon receipt
- Approved refunds will be processed to original payment method
- Please allow up to 14 business days for the refund to appear in your account
Exclusions
The following items are not eligible for return or refund:
- Bikes that have been ridden beyond initial testing
- Bikes held for more than 15 days
- Custom or personalized orders
- Accessories and apparel
- Items damaged due to improper assembly or misuse
- Products without original packaging and components
International Orders
If you make a purchase from outside the United States, currency conversion charges may be applied by your credit card company and payment processor. You will be responsible for all of these charges. Dakeya Bike can only refund in USD up to the full amount of your original purchase.
