Manufacturer’s Warranty | Dakeya Bike
This Limited Warranty is issued by Dakeya Bike. It applies only to products purchased through the official Dakeya Bike website www.dakeyabike.com. Purchases made through other sellers or platforms may be subject to their own warranty policies.
For Original Purchaser
Dakeya Bike provides a 2-year warranty for each Dakeya e-bike, excluding all normal wear-and-tear items. The warranty begins on the date the bike is received by the original purchaser.
For Subsequent Owner
Dakeya Bike provides a 2-year warranty for each Dakeya e-bike, excluding all wear-and-tear items.

The subsequent owner must provide proof of original purchase (original owner’s name & order number).

The warranty period still begins from the date the original purchaser received the bike.
Note:
-
“Original Purchaser” means the first buyer who purchased directly from Dakeya Bike’s official website or authorized channels.

“Subsequent Owner” means a second or later owner of the same e-bike.

In case of part replacements or exchanges, shipping fees may apply. Please contact Dakeya Bike’s customer service team for assistance.
For Separately Purchased Accessories
Dakeya Bike provides a 1-year warranty for separately purchased accessories.
1. Within 7 Days of Receipt:

Returns and exchanges are accepted.
-
If the accessory has a quality issue, Dakeya Bike covers the return/exchange shipping fee.

If there is no quality issue, exchanges are not accepted. Returns are subject to a 20% handling/shipping fee (minimum $15).
2. After 7 Days of Receipt:

Returns and exchanges are not accepted.
Note: Wear-and-tear items are not covered under warranty.
Parts & Components
Genuine Dakeya Bike parts and components come with a 2-year limited warranty.

Customers are responsible for freight/shipping costs when warranty spare parts are sent.
This Limited Warranty does not cover:

Ordinary wear and tear (brake pads, tires, tubes, chains, grips, cables, etc.).

Cosmetic damage (scratches, dents, paint fade, rust).
-
Damage caused by accidents, misuse, stunt riding, racing, or abuse.
-
Damage from improper assembly, maintenance, or use of unauthorized parts.
-
Corrosion or deterioration due to weather or storage conditions.
-
Defects caused by external factors such as fire, flooding, lightning, earthquakes, theft, or power surges.
-
Products with altered, removed, or defaced serial numbers.
-
Bikes used or purchased outside the United States.
-
Labor charges for part replacement or service.
Wear-and-Tear Items (Not Covered)
Wear-and-tear refers to normal deterioration from regular riding. The following items are not covered under warranty (non-exhaustive list):

Tires & Tubes

Brake Pads & Rotors
-
Chains & Chainrings
-
Bearings & Spokes
-
Handlebar Grips
-
Cables & Housings
-
Freehub Bodies, Cassettes, Sprockets

Rubber moving parts
-
Stripped bolts/threads
-
Tools & transmission gears

Uncovered Situations
This warranty is void if damage results from:

Improper assembly or unauthorized modifications.
-
Crashes, neglect, or abnormal use.
-
Failure to follow the Owner’s Manual or perform routine maintenance.
-
Use of parts or accessories not approved by Dakeya Bike.
-
Third-party repairs not approved in advance by Dakeya Bike.
Warranty Claim Process
To initiate a claim:

Provide proof of purchase and order number.

Submit clear photos/videos showing the issue.

Await evaluation and authorization from Dakeya Bike.
Important:

Warranty claims without prior authorization will be refused.
-
Replacement parts ship within 1–10 business days by standard methods.

Labor costs are not covered.
Shipping Damage Policy

If your product arrives damaged from shipping, you must report it within 14 days of receipt.

Provide photo/video proof to info@dakeyabike.com
-
Replacement parts will be provided. No labor/time compensation is included.
-
Claims submitted after 14 days will not be accepted.
Additional Terms

Warranty coverage applies only to the continental United States (unless otherwise specified).
-
Stolen bikes are not eligible for warranty claims.
-
Insurance coverage for accidents, theft, or personal injury is the responsibility of the customer.

Dakeya Bike reserves the right to update or modify this Warranty policy at any time without prior notice.
